I'm reducing my rates and why you should too

 

Know your value and keep raising your prices. It is what we are all taught to make more money with our time right?

I am here to throw the baby out with the bath water and tell you why I am reducing my rates and so should you too.

There is no denying it - the world is volatile at the moment both politically and in the online space. 

The online space has changed and to quote a friend and colleague '2 years in the online world now is the same change we once saw over 25 years in retail'. 

Facebook isn't what it used to be 2 years ago. Organic growth and $1 conversions to your list are the 'golden old days' now. 

Many online entrepreneurs are popping up as the market becomes saturated with entry level coaches charging beyond their ability; taking their trainings from YouTube videos. 

There is a lot of 'dirty' business happening.  Too many people are getting too big for their boots (to use a Puss in Boots saying). 

News feeds are full of money making glitter that look like the 'abs in 4 weeks' type promise. Unless you want to work 24 hours a day to get the most out the program and hit this crazy short time frame you may not get that "overnight" success promised.

Controversial? 

Perhaps

Honest? 

Yes.

Dig a little deeper in to many peoples stories and you will see that years have gone in to the "overnight" success.

So how do you set your prices yet still have your feet grounded in the real world? 

The world where you get your clients results? 

The world where they rave about you to their friends, family and their clients too?

Those qualities include:

 

  • Endurance and stamina to keep the pace
  • Perseverance to keep going even though it may get hard
  • A mindset that remains steady despite the peaks and valleys of your journey


We know that in order to achieve lasting change and real results we must push the boundaries of our comfort zone. So why don’t we do that? Why do we live our lives on the flat, easy trail?

Are Facebook Groups a thing of the past?

 

You may have seen a few big players in the online world deleting their Facebook Groups over the past few weeks.

Yep, Kimra Luna just archived her Freedom Hackers Group with over 42,000 people in it last week. SHOCK!

Sarah King closed her group in the first quarter of the year with over 10,000 avid members. 

I was surprised to see Gena + Jordana & Your Magical Business group of 14,000 disappeared as they were the lovelies that taught us about the value of a Facebook Group in my first group program.

I was annoyed when Luisa Zhou's Entrepreneurial Woman's group of 15,000 was no longer on my group choice because I was quiet active in this one. 

And when Aandra Bohlen closed her group of 5,000 Biz BABES I had to investigate.

A common thread came through when I spoke to the ladies closing their groups; once a group gets over the sweet spot of 1-2,000 it becomes a full time job to manage the community. 

As the head of the group your message is lost in the feed. 

If you don't have the resources to ensure the posts are the vibe you want, not all promotional and reply to posts with value then you are being busy for busy sake. 

And it is when this happens, as a CEO of a company they had to close their groups. 

This then poses the question to you  - 
⁉️ How reliant on other peoples groups are you for continued business?

⁉️ How agile are you in your business? 

⁉️ Can you pivot to move with the changes?

⁉️ Do you have more than one way to attract clients and speak with them? 

So back to my first question - are Facebook Groups a thing of the past?

In short - No.

BUT you do need to have engagement in the group and see a return on investment in your time. 

No busy for busy-sake. 

Remember - we want the Rich and Relaxed lifestyle here.

Today should have been a glorious day celebrating the cart closing on my first group program. I have it diarised to buy my flights to go to my next Mastermind at the Ritz in Paris as a way of celebrating. 

 

I even had this newsletter written up of the flurry of sales over the weekend that had exceeded my target. 

And the scholarship place I wanted to offer as a way of giving back to you all for the emails in your inbox the past 4 weeks. 

I believed in the Super Soulful Selling Program THAT much. 

And I didn't just 'want' it. 

I took action too.

 

I did all the steps my coach laid out for me to replicate her 6 figure launches - 

- market research interviews

- polls on topics

- FB ad campaign with a specialist to warm my audience by sending them to a few blog posts
- then retargeted to a totally now opt in that they chose from a poll as the thing they needed the most. 

- The opt in lead to a challenge in my FB Group

- This then was retargeted to my 3 webinars

- All 3 webinars were different topics and had 3 seperate funnels

- In the final week I did a Mini Series on my FB Page which got 163 direct click throughs to the website, and after 1,200 clicks on the lives (at just 1c each) and 748 clicks on the other one (at just 2c each)

- I posted in 7 other groups (value and CTA posts) continually for weeks

- I sent all the emails out to you  including FAQ's and a personal message

- I personally emailed and spoke to 87 people to help me get my message out and work in JV's

- 5 people promoted me to their list and/or group
- I offered free decision making calls

- I hired a team to help me with the tech and design work

- I had my website re-branded too (have you seen it yet ? It's rather sexy looking)

 

I did the woo woo steps too and felt totally aligned with the Universe -

- daily mindset work (morning and night)

- meditation with my Muse

- mantras

- visualisation and vison book

- a letter in the prayer box

- a list of numbers to put the new ladies names beside when they registered, holding space for them.

- phone notes

- notes around the house

- flower remedies

- essential oils

 

And I was tracking right for the numbers needed with 80% of sales coming in the last 24-48 hours. 

Yet, no-one came. 


Nothing. 

Like, NOTHING.


Yep, , I am a sales coach and couldn't fill my group program. 

Shameful right? 

I have cried. 

A lot.

So much so my poor husband is on constant hug mode. (I'm not usually a cryer).

So. What now after you fail ?

First - take a break.                    

Then, look at the stats and see what you can do better next time. 

Decided if there is a next time or if you try something different.

And then deliver the current program with gusto and gorgeous attention that the awesome ladies who DID sign up get. Give them the love and compassion they deserve. Ensure they have amazing sales in their business through heart centered approaches one on one. Because let's face it, all my clients get results + more!


I love this quote from Price Pritchett and although it sucks while you are in the middle of the failure, the truth is there and you have to just ride it out.

"Unless you allow yourself to make mistakes, to fail, you will never have the opportunity to test the limits of what you truly are capable of accomplishing."

"So think of problems or pain or slippage in performance as a positive sign. A performance lag ordinarily occurs at the very outset when you are making a quantum leap. It's the pause during which you poise for the jump, the temporary loss of momentum that occurs in the process of 'changing gears.'"

Tired of being on the constant hustle?

Yet  here's why you should take a break...

When you run a marathon you train for weeks and weeks. Early mornings, sore legs, rain, sunburn and loosing toenails. And all to get to the finish line and a medal. 


Some days the race is amazing and you cross the line so pleased. 

Other times you get blisters, your pacing was off, you couldn't drink enough or worse you poo yourself. Every time you finish you go back to your training diary, write your lessons and then put your shoes away for at least 2 weeks. 

If you don't take time off running you end up injuring yourself, you come back de-motivated and end up giving up or not committing to the training. 

Our brain is the same - we just can't see it....so we don't stop. We don't recharge. 

Have you just run a 'marathon' in your business? One that was going well and then didn't have the finish you had hoped for when you started the training.

Good or Bad, do what any good athlete does - drink wine, eat pizza and lye round in your pants for a few days. 


Trust me - I have done 40 marathons and used this analogy when managing my sales teams post launch. 

Take some time off...give your poor brain and adrenal glands a rest. 

You'll come back stronger AND more motivated!

Do this to keep competition at bay

We all know that when competition heats up you either rise to the game or run and give up.

I know I felt the competition weekend in my mountain bike race. It was pouring with rain and totally YUCK. I could have easily stayed in the car and read my book. Argghhh nice and warm and dry.

OR, get out and slide aroudn 25 kilometers of mud and roots. I was up for it and flipped the switch in my brain from a place of lack to a plce of fulfilment.

And that is what I want you to do in your business . 

When competition knocks what do you do? 

Do you hide?

Do you think 'oh no they stole my idea?'

Do you grab on to all that you have and protect your patch?

Or do you flip the mental switch and invite them in? 

Which is it ?

Do you take it one step further and collaborate? 

Collaboration is a hugely important key to success.

As they say - it takes a village to raise a baby. So why would you build a business in isolation? 

And boy have I been seeing collaboration in spades these past few weeks. 

I have had some amazing women, who are building their own businesses, take time out to be in a place of abundance and support me and my business.

And collaboration goes both ways. This week, although in the middle of my own launch, I promoted and endorsed two awesome sales of colleagues.

What you must keep in the forfront of your mind  is that there is enough clients in this world for us all. 

Just imagine if everyone from Facebook signed up to your offer today? 

Awesome right? 

Maybe not - I ask you  how would you handle 1.44billion clients right now? 

Not so awesome now.

So when you see competition out there, take a deep breath and know that there is enough space for you and them. Team up with people to get your message out there. And always come from an abundant heart. 

You can't do better than that.

That inner voice deserves a platform - here's how

I want you to know your voice and story is unique. 

AND that there is your unique tribe/following/community (whatever floats your boat) wanting to follow you, resonate with you and work with you.

Why do I boldly say this? 

Well I have had two amazing woman this morning contacting me about my Super Soulful Selling group program (launched last week, more on that soon) knowing that they had something inside them that they wanted to share with the world. 

Yet didn't quite know how to do it without sounding like everyone else.

Nodding your head ?

Yes, you too?

You feel that niggly thing inside you that you know you are better than where you are today. 

But just HOW do you release that desire without looking like a fool?

How do you get your message out and not sound like everyone else?


Not sound like a broken record?

Well, I hear ya! I was in the same boat. I felt like sales is the most boring subject in the world. It is like brushing your teeth - needed everyday but not exactly something you jump out of bed each day thinking 'I can't wait to brush my teeth!! yay!". Said no-one ever.

Yep thought not.

So how was I going to create a business around something so meh, something that females hate to do?

Yet, I knew deep down that sales was my gem, my calling, my passion.

I knew that I wanted to help other woman make money (and sales easy) in their businesses and in turn their lives. 

Most of all I was worried about how was I going to stand out from the crowd?

And not sound like I was selling cars, used ones!

And then it dawned on me. 
 

Everyone's story is different and resonates with people in a different way. 

 

For example - my selection of Paleo cookbooks - all the same message, each one has slightly a different take on paleo and recipe ideas.

Then there is all my athlete cooking books who want to give you oomph while training yet stay lean. They all are the same but with slight variations; often the same chicken and vegetable dish!

And then there is the cookbooks that restrict something like sugar or grain or food. They too are very similar, yet I got something new from each one.

And you know what this shows you (beside the fact I have a mild obsession with eating/cooking, being lean and books) is that they all are the same yet each book has a special place on the shelf. 

 

Each sells hope of a smaller arse and a healthier life. Each have their own unique story and take on how to do it. 

 

your story is unique and will stand strong against all the others. Even if you think you have the same proposition or idea. 

You have got this and are worthy and unique. People want (and need) your unique services and story!

 

Keep this in your mind, in your communication and move forward relentlessly!!

Do you have the right tools for the success you desire in your business ? 

Or are you sliding all over the shop floor?

It came to me to apply this question to your business while out running a race this weekend. We were half way through a trail half marathon when the girl in front of me was complaining about the terrain. 

Sure, it was a hard going; rocky with a covering of slippery mud and some oyster shells thrown in. We were all concentrating hard to find the right mixture between speed and safe foot placement. No-one wants to slide out and land on your ass; it hurts and is embarrassing. 

Having the right running shoes makes all the difference though.

Knowing that when you put your foot down your shoe will grip, gives you so much more confidence. 

I said this to the girl complaining behind me. She promptly came back with - 'shoes make no difference what-so-ever'. I couldn't help but think how ignorant this answer was. 

Having the right tools for the job always makes it so much easier. In running races and in business. 

You see , knowing that each step you take in business is the right one to move your business forward helps you move faster and more confidently.

Sure there will be times when it is hard and you need to tread carefully. 

This is the joy of being an entrepreneur - the challenge. 

Yet arming yourself with -

  • the right CRM system, 
  • the right Facebook ads that convert, 
  • the right website design,
  • the right support and community,
  • the right coaching,
  • the right Landing Pages,
  • the right office environment,
  • the right clothes and vibe,
  • the right sleep, exercise and food,


...will give you the ability to be successful. Having the right tools will give you the ability to move over the obstacles with speed, agility and grace. 

Don't be like the girl in my race refusing to try anything new. 

be open to new ways of working, to learning from those ahead of you and alway always keep checking in that you have right tools for your success.

Winston Churchill said "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm." and boy he should know with the amount of blunders he had.

More notably his pudgy, bowler hat clad face and fat finger is remembered with the victorious win against Germany; keeping Britains freedom.

Now today isn't about a history lesson. More to illustrate that enthusiasm and commitment is key to success .

Yet, so many times we are too scared to commit with enthusiasm to a new project, a new way of life or a new practise. 

Why? Because in a place of fear it is uncomfortable, icky and plain anxious. 

However, it is when you commit whole heartedly that the magic happens. This is when you start to take steps towards the changes you want in your life and see the glorious success. 

I see this in my own life where I followed my coach on-line for at least 18 months. I even went to the extremes of writing out the modules in her course, assigning dates to when I would 'google the heck out them' and do it on my own. 

But you know what? I was too scared to commit to the program because that would mean I was taking action to the business and life I wanted and that was all too-hard. So I stayed in limbo. I wanted to take my skills of 15 years in the sales world and help woman be awesome at their sales, yet the cushy salary and perks were oh-so-good too. 

It wasn't until I had enough of my boss telling me to be the mother of the firm and bringing me to tears in Board Meetings that I decided to make a stand for myself. 

I committed to a group program and the rest (and the multiple 5 figure investment) is history. I have never looked back and only seen growth in my business, my life and my spirituality. 

Mountaineer W.H. Murray so aptly sums up making a decision and going for it in this amazing quote:

 

'Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. The moment one definitely commits one-self, then providence moves too.'

let's put the fear of making changes in your life to the back - what decision are you going to make today to move the needle forward in your business?

There are plenty of people out there living the life you want. All you need to do is look around you. They are not more special than you, nor more talented. They just made a decision. Set it in stone and then went about having tunnel-vision-hell-bent-action-taking-relentless commitment to get there. Do you think they have failed along the way - heck yes. Did that stop them? No.

Reckon you can do it? I do.

How annoying is it when prospective clients just vanish?

Poof!

They are saying yes and super happy to work with you and then nothing. 

Nothing at all. You don’t get a response to your email, messages or calls. You don’t want to sound pushy yet your thinking WTF?! Where did you and your enthusiasm AND your money go lady!?

Well, first of all; it happens to us all so don’t beat yourself up about it. 

Leads or clients saying yes and then dropping off the planet can be boiled down to these 4 factors - 

👻 She said Yes, but wasn’t really ready to buy. She might have been gathering options, testing the waters with a few and finding out investment levels.

👻 She got what she wanted from the call and doesn’t need anymore help right now. Also falls in this category is that she got the validation she was looking for and is ready to move forward on her own.

👻 She has new priorities. Enthusiasm wains with time and external priorities become more pressing. Such as her car breaks down, the family pet gets ill, or a household bill rolls in consuming the investment put aside for you.

👻 You were too desperate. You were thinking about you, your money desires and sales goals. Desperation smells worse than rotting fish in a sales call and can be felt in an instant by a prospective lead. They are wary and don’t hold the trust to invest with you.

The answer - keep them in your loop with constant comms and know that when the student is ready the teacher will appear. 

 

Focus on this to make more money in your biz

 

I want to be honest with youand share some feedback I got from a friend last week that lead to a massive shift in my biz, and it wasn't all fun. 

In a conversation about a new program I want to bring out in my biz (more on that later...you'll be the first to know!) she said that I seem to love being outside so much that I should just focus on being active. That seemed to bring me the most joy.

Like a lightening bolt it hit me! I was slaving away in my own biz doing shit I didn't like. How on Earth was I living my mantra of Rich and Relaxed, when I wasn't doing things in my own biz that made me smile. 

Now don't get me wrong, we all need to do things to keep moving forward in our biz's that don't exactly light us up, like our tax return. Although the bigger the tax return the more successful your business has been; there is always a silver lining. 

I hung up the phone (well, hit the red button on Skype as you do now) and stomped around the house muttering 'how dare she say I wasn't passionate about my biz, I can't be outside all day, every day...' and on went the muttering. I brought it up with my husband and he listened (go hubby!). 

I then had a cry. 

It was at this point that I recognised I was going through an up-leveling process. I was taking my biz and (most importantly) my life to the next level.

The next morning I decided to focus on what I love, what brings me joy. And that is helping female entrepreneurs, like yourself, have the confidence to live a life they love through enhanced sales in their biz. Living a balanced life that is Rich and Relaxed.

I took out all the crap from my week and got on with being creative and focusing on what would serve my community the best. 

And guess what? 

I had a blast! I woke every morning to excited breaths about what I needed to do for the day in my biz. Sure, I got outside and trained, yet I was excited to get back to my desk and connect with more woman. Make a bigger impact. Help more females. 

By the end of the week I had been to 3 networking events, grown my list and Facebook group, connected with over 20 woman one-on-one, designed a new challenge to help 100's of woman grow their business and confidence.

I also had a $20k week...

by focusing on joy I got great flow in my biz and my life. I got connected to what makes me fire on all cylinders. I got in alignment with the Universe and together we had a friggin fantastic week. 

This is possible for you too . It's super easy!

Ask yourself - 

  • What brings you joy. 
  • What really makes you think 'YES!'? 
  • What activities do you loose yourself in for a few hours? (Excluding social media!) 
  • What task, when finished, makes you feel the proudest? 


Now focus your week on these. And here's why.

When you focus on what brings you joy you feel enthusiastic. Enthusiasm is the fuel for motivation. And when you are motivated people feel that, you feel that and your vibration attracts a similar frequency. Success is eminent. You can't hide from success.


And with successful results comes a new level of confidence. You know that what you are putting out their is needed and wanted. You keep going with the task or service with more joy and excitement. The lovely wheel of joy keeps turning. 

And you keep kicking ass in your biz and life.

It really is that easy .

Everything going great? Read this...

 

This weekend while running up a mountain, as you do, I was listening to Wayne Dyers audio book , Excuses Begone! He spoke about how your past doesn’t have to be your reality now. 

He said to think about how a boats wake pours out behind the boat yet does not determine where the boat goes. Yes, the wake is part of the boat but doesn’t effect the destination the boat goes to. 

How cool is that? It got me thinking about my own past and how the lessons I have learnt have shaped my direction, yet ultimately my direction is my own choice. 

Like the choice I made as a 5 years old to not live the life my father had shown me with money when we had to hide in the bathroom so the repossessing agent couldn’t serve papers to my father to take our home. 

Or when I came back to my dorm room at boarding school to find the matrons packing up my things because my father had defaulted on my school payments.  

From that moment on, I realized a few things about money: I never wanted to be in this place again, I wanted to make my own money and I wanted to be able to live the life that I wanted.

 

Effectively I was in control of my boat and the wake was not keeping me in that rollercoaster money trap. 

How are you  still holding on to your past? 

What is it that you just can’t let go? (That little bastard that keeps popping up!)

How is that past, which has been and gone by the way, holding you in a stuck place now? 

Maybe you are scared of going for your dreams because in the past they were shattered. Or maybe you are worried that if you might be broke like you were before so disregard the dreams you have thinking they are too financially risky. Is it that you can’t find love because all the men you have had hurt you in the end? 

Take time today  to write down anything that you are still holding a flame for right now. And really see it for what it is - the wake of your boat. You have the power within you to take control  of your direction. 

Steer your own boat. 

I know I didn’t think it was possible when I was being booted out of boarding school 2 weeks before final exams. I knew I didn’t have the $45, 000 to pay the years fees. 

Instead of wallowing in what had happened. I stuck my head down, studied and passed my exams with such great marks that I was allowed in to University a year earlier than normal. I was 16 years old the first day on Uni and had a Master by 21 years old. My wake was left behind  as I powered on with my dreams.

Yours wake can be left behind too. 

Power on!

Secrets of 7 figure coaches

 

Wow - I am back on turbo charge!

I have spent the weekend in Santa Barbara, California on my Mastermind retreat with with 13 other 6 figure biz-babe coaches, our mentors and three fantastic 7 figure biz owners.

Besides the glasses of Moet in gorgeous California sun (is the sun bigger there or what? I digress...) we got down and gritty with how to take our businesses and ourselves to the next level. 


Part of the process was defining where we wanted to go and what life we wanted to create. Mine was easy - Rich and Relaxed. I love showing my clients how to make money so that they can have the freedom to have epic adventures, hang with friends and travel to new places. More on this soon though...

What struck me the most about the 7 figure special guests was their ability to have faith in the bigger picture. 

Sarah Kaler, CEO of Soul Powered empowered us to grow our team and how to hire with purpose. It all comes down to having a vision for your company. In other words, loosing the small mind syndrome and knowing that to grow you need to outsource. How, what and where is a skill, yet essentially you make 30-70% of the investment in returns when creating a team. 

She should know. She brought Lululemon to the States, creating a $300 million dollar business. Oh, and she was in her twenties. Yep, she's a high-roller-hustler alright!

Marla Mattenson is a relationship and intimacy expert speaker. Marla specializes in working with couples and is a cool $120k to work with her. Yep, she's the real deal. 

She has a referral based business and is a spiritual turbo charged diva. I loved her instantly! And it wasn't just because she had some great bedroom games (email me if you want more details!), it was more that she was right on the button that harmony in your biz comes hand in hand with harmony in your relationships. 

I know this. When it is tough at home, and let's face it  it wasn't the easiest time around my recent wedding, your business suffers. 

To be plain, the weeks around my wedding was the hardest time of my life. And my business suffered. Not instantly; 30-60 days later. It was apparent that I had lost consistency in my biz, resulting in loss of consistency in my sales. 

Marla's advice - communicate with praise first and then a very specific request. Men want directions. All they want to do is please. So make it easy for them and be specific. 

Trouble is that means you need to know what you want. Do you?

Surprised? Not the tactical plan that you thought to get to 7 figures? Same! 

What I learnt heavily is that growing your business all comes down to your faith in the Universe that what you have to offer the world is unique and needed. 

And guess what? It is.

You're a lot greater and sort after than you thought. 

Trust me!

Success looks like...

 

After completing the Half Marathon in the World Masters Games this weekend it made me really think about what success looks like. Too often people will ask 'what time did you do?' and take that as a measure of your success on the day. Or, my Mum's favourite, 'did you win?'.  

A poor time or a low place is instantly seen as a lack of success. Yet, sometimes completing and just having fun is what I see as a success. 

It made me think about business and what success looks like to you . 
- Is it making 5 (or 6!) figure months? 
- Is it spending more time with your family?
- Is it having holidays when you want? This is one of my favs...can you tell?!
- Is it having Friday afternoons off? 
- Or maybe sleeping in Monday mornings while everyone else is in traffic? I particularly like this one and feel rather smug not sitting in traffic everyday. Boom!

Whatever success looks like to you it is essential to be true to yourself and go for that. And be proud. That is the essential part - be proud!

I love the fact that I have travelled to 57 countries and am heading off to LA tomorrow and working all the way. This is my success. And for my best friend her success is seeing her children get in to rep rugby team.

So you see success is determined by what is in your heart. Not what others tell you.

Who has influenced me and how it can grow you business too.

 

While I am sitting in the Maldives loving life I have had time to reflect on how my life got to this and who has played a major role in creating my laptop lifestyle. 

It is no secret that moving in to the coaching biz I was new to the industry. I absorbed everything (and still do) from the woman before me. I want to share with you the woman and the tips that have helped me move forward in my business. 

These points are my interpretation of their coaching and has played a key role in how I have accelerated my business so quickly. 

Here are the top 8 tips that helped me grow my business and can grow yours too!
 

  1. Emily Williams, I Heart My Life. Do you want to be scared or rich? It is your choice. Another gem of hers is - Clarity comes from action. I just love this one because it keeps you moving forward.
  2. Noor Hibert, This is you Dream. Mantra like a mo-fo. What you repeat in your head, or even out loud will create your reality. e.g. $10k months are my new normal. In other words, your thoughts create your reality, so make your thoughts what you want your reality to be. Easy huh?
  3. Christina Jandali, Deliver Your Genius. Set an intention to bring in one client and do everything you can to future that lead. In other words don’t have a scatter gun approach, be selective and direct.
  4. Laura Wright, EPIC at Sales. Create a container around your sale with several options of levels of support for your clients. Make it easy for your clients to say yes and feel supported. It’s about the dollars and cents. 
  5. Janelle Ladewig, Janelle Ladewig. Know what the money you want coming in to your business is needed for, this way the Universe will support you. And deliver for you. Have strong mindset and morning routines that serve you. 
  6. Selena Soo, S2 Group. Your influencers are not only the people that you admire in the spotlight. They can be the person one (or even half) step ahead of you. Reach out in a place of service with no requirement to want to get anything back. Make life easy for your influencers and don’t create more work for them. 
  7. Kim Heinz, Kim Heinz. All things technical are easy, just work through them. (or as I do, send it to Kim and her team to do!)
  8. Racheal McMicheal, The Techspert. The riches and in the niches. And she is talking Facebook niches. Find them for your ideal client and your cost per conversion will plummet. 


And one from a bloke, but he’s fairly awesome, so I am including him! James Williams, I Heart My Life. Meditate and do it with intention. Boy he worked hard on me to meditate and now I have a MUSE it is easy, and fun. Ok Ok and I get stats!

So, who has taken you to a higher place in your business ? Who has shown you the path to taking your business to the next level? What areas do you need support the most? 

Now I am not saying go to the Maldives (although it is frickin cool here) to have space to reflect. You can start by writing down who you are grateful for and why in your life. 

It’s also nice to let those people know too.

Why surprises are a good thing

 

This weekend I was going through our wedding photos and sending some off to our guests to say thank you. It got me thinking about how grateful I am that I love sales. 

How lucky I was to head down the sales path and not become an air pollution specialist as my Masters in Science would have me do. I also realised that I was grateful for the down sides of my up bringing. 

My father was a helicopter pilot and a prize A-hole. There is no sugar coating that bad boy. I still have the love of being in the air though. So much so that the morning of my wedding last month I got a download while out running on the beach. 

It came to me that I wanted to surprise my new husband to a helicopter ride over the coast and land at our reception...in total James Bond style. Within 45 minutes I had air traffic clearance, council permission AND paid the 4 figures to make it happen. 

This example of indulgence is not to show off, but to show you what is possible when you have consistent sales coming in. 


No more worrying 'should I buy this?' or 'can I afford it'. 

Sales, and being awesome at it, gives you the freedom to have life's luxuries. You decide time or money or both!

I am so passionate about money and having it so I can do what my heart desires in life. And it all steams from my A-hole father. 

Money has been on my mind since I was 5-years old. Most children don’t have to think about it, but I was forced to. I remember hiding in the bathroom as our house was repossessed because my father had spent every cent we had, and a lot of other peoples too! I remember someone was banging on the door and after that everything changed. 

From that moment on, I realized a few things about money: I never wanted to be in this place again, I wanted to make my own money, I wanted to be able to live the life that I wanted, and I wasn’t going to repeat my family patterns. 

So , now I am turbo charged to live life on my terms and help all other action taking woman to do the same through consistent and easy sales. 

Let’s rock this world together!

 

TedTalk - not mine…

 

This weekend a college of mine was called up to do a TedTalk. It was totally out of the blue; she only had 2 days notice to pull together a 17 minute talk.

Obviously she was elated yet panicked. She was also a key note speaker the same evening in a totally different town. 

While everyone rushed around her to help with logistics and ideas for content I sat back in shock. Itshould come as no surprise to anyone that doing a TedTalk is high on my dreams and desires. Like right up there! It is plastered all through my diary and in my vision book. I even have the book on how to deliver a TedTalk. 

I couldn’t help but be super envious. 

And while I teetered on the fine line of ‘why not me, it’s not fair, when will I get that opportunity’. I managed to use her opportunity as a driver for me to really see and feel my goal. I knew from my own green monster within that a TedTalk wasn’t just something I thought was cool and I should do, it was (and still is) something I really want to do. 

Maybe you have had the same feelings when you see others get the guest speaker requests. 
Or the post about having 10,000 Likes on their page. 
Or having a 5 figure month. 

It can suck right?

Downright suck.

But I am here to tell you that it need not be like that. You can use the lump in your gut to be your driver to know two things. One. You really DO want this goal, it is real and so keep taking daily action to get to it. And, two, use this new found sureness to take action. How can you be taking one step closer each day? 

I’ll tell you what I am going to do - read that TedTalk book on my shelf first and then write up at least three different topics I want to talk about. 

I am also going to pick her brains on what I need to know going on the TedTalk stage and I am going to buy my outfit in anticipation! Boom! 

It is all about the thought you put out to the Universe and the action you take. 

You’ve got this (so do I!).

 

How I had the biggest month to date...

Thought so!

It is past the New Year, New Me zone and we are in to the year. Yet, it seems to be slipping by....I mean we are nearly at Easter and the seasons are changing before our eyes.

I hear ya. I went through the same feelings of overwhelm, doubt and frustration earlier this year. With a wedding to plan and huge growth goals in my business, not to mention fitness targets, I was frying my own brain. 

So, I set about a way to brain dump everything and put it all in to actionable steps that would give my brain the break it needed. What happened?

I made huge improvements in my energy levels, accelerated my business faster than ever before having the largest sales month ever AND had an amazing wedding. Including a helicopter! 🚁

Only you can get yourself out there.

Your dreams, goals and vision rely on you.

Ultimately your success is your own. You are responsible for you own success. 

So, why have I not been in your inbox last week and sitting here with the tidiest house you could imagine, hot cross bun crumbs on my desk and a very neat, tidy and long To Do List?

It comes down to fear. 

Not the desire to win the best wife award; trust me, I am not winning there! 

According to my High Performance Coach James Williams there are three states of fear after life threatening, lion chasing you fear. 

First, we fear loss pain – that by changing or advancing in our lives we will lose something important to us. Second, we fear process pain – that the mere act or process of changing will be too hard for us. Third, we fear outcome pain – that all the effort we put into changing may not lead to a better outcome in our lives, that the “grass might not be greener.” 

These fears always try to trip us up and stop us from making progress. 

So, how do you move past one of these three fears? Or maybe you have them all. I know I have the past two weeks. 

Well, it is pretty simple. By taking actionable baby steps. 

Mine was to write something, anything, to reach out to you, show I cared and wanted to help you. 

And now look? I have made it! We are at the end of this weeks newsletter and I have helped you to make progress towards your goals, dreams and desires too.

After all , it’s time to Live the Life you Love!
